My weekly excursion to H for H Restore scored me this huge 16.5" majolica charger. Stamped on the back in green "Made in Germany" with some faint black lettering that might be the title of the scene. There's also the incised number 2217L. which is probably a pattern or catalog number. These show up online in different sizes and landscapes with varying maker marks that probably changed over the years. They all have a variety of landscapes with Swiss/German sod farm houses as their subject matter. I found this exact same charger online described as made by Schwarzwald Baden G.S. Zell.but this piece is not embossed with their logo so it could be newer. The date range is typically from the 50's to 60's. -Mike-
