This vase is 13" high x 6.5" widest diameter. It has the label of a Chicago importer who imported glass from Taiwan. Not shown, it also had a paper price tag from the defunct Bergners Department Store, for $58. Bergners closed in the 1990s but the label is an older style. That seems expensive for circa 1980s... No idea which Taiwan glass house made this.
Very well made, super grind on the top, has a few bubbles. A $6 Goodwill find. Had some gunky white rectangular thing on the bottom over the label which I could only partially remove.

This is the best article on the history of art glass in Taiwan that I have seen:

There is some good glass from Taiwan as this shows.
So hard to find info don't you think Kevin?
Thanks, Karen! Some of the Silvestri glass on eBay is very impressive. I tried emailing the artist at the email address in the article, but it came back as undeliverable. Would love to have gotten him talking!
Thanks, Reise, Karen and Drake47!
