Either I've entered a run of excellent luck or my scepticism is justified. Last evening I added an item to my list of sales caused by downsizing. When researching them I discovered that this particular plate (Wedgewood as illustrated) is offered in UK and USA at around £30. This morning, while clearing a cupboard of leftover finds from auction I, after about four years of doing nothing, search the four legged sugar and cream which I had though might be a Victorian mourning design and possibly of interest to the Goth community. Then I discovered the self same item, identified as Sowerby Glass, for sale on ETSY for £147.
The third item, looks like a French design about which I could find little ther than the "Croquis" imprint on the base.
Please tell me I've developed an "eye" or let me down gently.
