This trio of vintage songbird pins are described as follows:
Bird on branch, 1 1-2",with mini bright pink rhinestones & teal eye, on goldtone. Marked Ciner on tail ca 1970s;
Two singing birds with nest of faux pearl "eggs", 1 1-4"W, tiny white rhinestone heads & tails, red eyes & cherry cabochon bodies on silvertone w/ goldtone accents. Marked Pell ca 1960s;
Bird on branch, 1 1-2", with pearlized blue & green enamel and one tiny rhinestone eye, on goldtone. Marked Carolee ca 1980s
I love bird brooches, heck birds in general! This trio are beautiful. My favorite is the jelly belly pair, but I also like the Ciner, which are rarely seen on here. Nice combo! :)
I'm a bird fan, living or not.
I would wear these together just to prove it, and to also show I have some class on occasion.
The nesting pair! I adore them.
Lovely collection of birds, though my favourite is the eyecatching blue green- is he a bird if paradise I wonder? Or a magpie? I think magpie because of his long tail! And the tone of him, real lovely blue/green
Many thanks to you all for the love

Thank you DejaVu for your super comment & I'm totally with you, birds rule! And I'm really glad you liked this trio, I love that Pell pair myself....saw it in another color on the "pin" site but think the red is prettier
Karen thank you for your wonderful comment & also being another bird lover, they are so pretty and make terrific subjects in glass (esp yours!!) and jewelry. It is a great idea to wear them together I've got to try that
A magpie or paradise bird are good guesses for the blue-green bird Lauren, very cool thought! Or maybe a mockingbird, that's the sort with raised tail that I see locally. Carolee made some really pretty birds & I'm lucky to have a few. Thank you for your awesome comment & enjoying the grouping
Beautiful flock of birds. Hard to choose just one, but I am in Love with the little red birds with the nest of pearls. Exquisite piece.
Thanks so much Dawn for your great comment/love & enjoying this bunch of birdies! Just a few pins I've accumulated over the yrs that were too small to post alone, so I gave them some company. I'm a bit partial to the Pell pair with nest myself, actually am a huge fan of Pell animals they were all so different
