New Discovery On Holiday

So I was visiting friends down on the south coast of England, and decided to have a rummage in the charity shops, because I can't help myself. Sitting there on the shelf was this, for the pricely sum of £4. I would have paid more it was so nice. Very lovely duck egg blue with a metallic effect at the top. There is a mark to the base which looks like a V in a square, but I'm stumped as to who made it.
