This appears to be a Shino ware sake set with two flasks and two cups. Both flasks and both cups are marked on the bottom. In original box. I like that the flasks are decorated front and back.

Google Translate could only decipher the text on the right side of the box lid: "Nihonbashi Yamamotoyama"

This appears to be an upscale Japanese department store very focused on tea and tea service.

    https://www.yamamotoyama.co.jp/store_en.html

"In 1690, the Yamamoto family moved from Kyoto to the new capital of Edo, modern-day Tokyo, and established a tea shop. Yamamotoyama is the oldest tea company and remains family owned and operated, drawing from its rich heritage and vast expertise to provide healthy and deliciously innovative foods. In fact, the Yamamoto family still serves the finest teas and seaweed-inspired cuisine from its store in Nihonbashi, Tokyo, located in the same spot for over 330 years."

Probably souvenir of a Japanese vacation. Not sure which kiln made this set.

Sorry for the slow response, Karen! These flasks and cups do have a great feel and are a pleasure to use and drink from.
