Often referred to as a nappy, Davidson in their catalogues call this type of dish a "sweet". This is a lovely, unusual one with the Registered Design Number 237038 from the 8th. of January 1894, in America known as the "Linking Rings" pattern. Rim diameter is 5", height overall 2.5".
