Hello everyone!!
It's been a while since I've posted. This summer has been quite a busy one and I've not had any time for treasure hunting over the past few months. But, I've had my eye on this large bronze Japanese hare sculpture for some time now and decided to take the plunge and make him a part of my collection.
You may have seen my other large bronze Japanese hare that I posted a few years ago. This too is Japanese and was made sometime during the 1980's. As with my other large bronze hare, this too is quite large and measures 28" long, 12" tall and 15" at his widest point. He weighs in at 42lbs!! Pic #4 shows both of my Japanese bronze hares together.

Finely formed hare, he looks about to jump! Scott it's always a joy when you come back, love your animals - and this is the lunar Year of the Rabbit, so this is perfect
