Added this truck to my collection about 4 yrs ago. I found it at a yard sale for $5.00. Many friends and family who have seen my collection always gravitate to this truck. I do not know anything about the truck but would like to hear all comments Thank you
It is a fantasy item from the 1980's. It is most likely not antique, and there isn't probably an orignal because it is cast iron.
Your cast iron model is based on a 1912 Model T Ford. I have a 1/35th scale Coca Cola Matchbox model (black and white with Coca Cola in red), just like yours, only the wheels are different and my model has red pin striping on it.
