Hello! Does anyone recognize the maker of this beautiful costume jewelry necklace? I have searched the piece thoroughly and can't find a hallmark or makers mark anywhere. It is adjustable as seen on Photo 4 - there are links that can be removed to shorten it. Lots of white rhinestones on the four links in the center front, with nine (9) large amethyst-color faceted stones in the highly decorative links. I don't know if they are actually amethysts or purple glass. It's very heavy - 6.25 ounces. Quite pretty! I look forward to hearing your thoughts on the maker. It's my understanding that Trifari always marked their pieces, so if that's so, Trifari is out of consideration. Thanks!
That is one gorgeous necklace! Looks well made and i like the extenders, which are rare to have on any necklace. The only designer i could think of is (D & E) Juliana. Many collectors believe they only used prongs, which is not true. Some pieces were glue set. Good luck with your research.
Thanks, DejaVu2! I'll check it out!
