The string of green stones make this lizard look quite slithery and real, yikes !~
This brooch is gorgeous with all those beautiful white stones! The green eyes and back give the right balance. Love it! :)
Oooh, now THAT'S a gorgeous lizard! I love him for how simplistic his design is, yet, he's so pretty! The line of stones down his are a nice touch and the green eyes? That's definitely the coolest part of him! Looks like he's a little gecko, creeping along a wall somewhere :)
With sincere thanks to you all for the love

Phil thank you for your fabulous comment, this lizard totally has that slithery look esp with that tail, you can imagine it creeping along and giving you a scare :)
Thank you DejaVu for your marvelous comment and appreciation for this Carolee design, I knew this one was great because of the green rhinestone touches, most of Carolee's lizards are either all white or B&W so this one stood out as exceptional, and it was the only one like it I've seen online so really lucky to get it
Lauren he is most probably a gecko lizard, and really lifelike I agree. If only they remained creeping on the walls, I've had a few experiences on vacays in Florida and Mexico where they would slither along on tile flooring under the breakfast table, that 'yikes' moment that Phil described :) I'll take this pretty rhinestone version anyday! Thank you for your fantastic comment & super description
My first brooch as a kid was a lizard brooch, I still remember it. I'm sure it was very cheap (it bent easily) and the plastic ' pearl' body had to be glued back on.
Long story short, this is why I love a lizard brooch. This one is fabulous Jenni, with her green eyes and back.
Thanks Karen for your awesome comment & love and I'm glad this lizard brought back a nice memory for you! They're so pretty & mysterious in jewelry, I was lucky to get this one. Real ones however...tiny geckos are fine, but in Mexico many yrs ago I had the displeasure to find a huge Iguana on the bathroom ceiling grate of my hotel room, the staff removed it but needless to say, I left Mexico the next day lol :)
