    Haven’t been able to pinpoint an age on this…. Brass and black glass urn shaped table lamp. It has brass S shaped double pull chain sockets which read P&S patent. Fat boy style sockets. Patterned base & urn cap . I believe it to be some type of glass and it is shiny and a very dark black color . Seems to be of excellent quality lamp. Heavy and well constructed.. could not find a makers mark, but then again, I didn’t take it apart.

      Yes, I agree that is it vintage, looks like a hi line lamp based on the base especially. the dual swivel sockets were premium hardware in the 50's and 60's. I'd hold it up to the sun or a super bright light against or through it, see if it is black glass, or amethyst. That might help you to pin it down.
