This rocker has baffled me for awhile now. Never seen one like it. I know it's vintage. It had a skirt around the bottom that was damaged so I removed it. The rocker seat sits really low and it is in pretty good shape. Other than that, I'm at a loss as to the age or who made it.
Here are the dimensions: 43" high, 32" long, 25 3/4" wide, 14" from floor to seat.

On the internet now they come and go. Unfortunately if you are looking at images there are not many. Rocking chairs are still sold but after they are sold the ad and photos are taken off the internet so its not a great place to learn. If you know a bigger city that had furniture manufacturers the public library would have some info on their makers from the past 100 years or so. Many citys now have libraries which have a " history room " where they store info and old photos. Most manufacturers 99% left no records at all, so you would have to do your searching by looking at a library likely. This kind of furniture still shows up at local auctions and the price of antiques has taken a big drop on prices as there are few and far between collectors of them anymore !~
