Here is a 3 1-2"H yellow glass chicken with handpainted pink crest & floral accents by artist TJ Mendenhall for Fenton/Lenox Glass ca 1990s. Signature & orig label on bottom, Fenton oval logo imprint seen in photo #4
It's amazing that they hand painted these lovely little creatures.
In Aus we call chickens chooks, and she is a good looking chook for sure.
I think my mother would have loved this as much as I sure do !~
Very sweet little chicken, though with the comb and tail I'd safely say she's a HE?!!! He's very feminine and soft looking anyway, especially that pose, looks like he's stopped pecking, noticed something interesting and prefers that instead!
Thank you all for the thoughtful love

Thank you Karen for your wonderful comment & I too think the painting on this chickie is really an enhancement. Chooks is so adorable! They are certainly active little birds & I esp love the baby chicks with their fuzzy look
Phil I'm so glad you loved this pretty yellow gal & think your mom would have enjoyed it, thank you so much for your super comment
You know Lauren, I thought it must be a rooster too but Fenton titled it chicken or hen, and looking at real hens they also have a crown (though smaller) like a rooster's, plus Fenton made other roosters, so I changed the name to "or hen" as it does look too feminine to be a male :) I am so glad you liked the pretty soft look of this one, and thank you for your always great & spot-on comment
Thanks Phil & Thomas for loving my glass chicken hen, you guys are great and I really appreciate your thoughtfulness
Thanks a bunch JB for the love for this yellow chicken & other of my posts today, you are really fantastic & I will get to thanking you for all when have more time
