Antique Edwardian oak, smokers cabinet with Gothic style beveled, glass, doors, and silver hardware, including the lock and key and an inner spring lock, and drawer handle. Inside there is a drawer and a top shelf as well as 2 pipe racks.(holds a total of six pipes.) a really nice piece in excellent condition. I’ve posted a picture of the makers mark on the back. I can make out the crown but not the writing. If anyone recognizes this Mark, I’d love to know who made it and where . I’m guessing it is circa 1900
Great piece. Love the coffin shaped windows. The mark picture is blurry..if you could redo that and make sure it's horizontal, that makes image searches easier. Looks like it says SERES? Haven't found anything in quick searches..I suspect may he English from the crown..
Thanks Dave. I’ll try to get a better picture although it is very very faint. I almost didn’t see it there.
Nice piece, sort of reminded me of Bombay Co. furniture at first. Love it !~
Hi Dave, I tried to get a better picture of that… It does look like it says made in England. And thanks Phil I found a few similar pieces they didn’t have the cathedral cut window and they said early 1900s and that it was Edwardian , but not a lot of information other than that
Yes, I love the Gothic shaped windows also and they used bevel glass which makes it all the more wonderful !~
