Vintage Antique Tractor Pull Button/Pinback
Goodhue Volksfest 1897-1994 1st Antique Tractor Pull
Button is > 25 years old making it vintage and the tractor is definitely antique.
I guess I'm able to use vintage and antique in the same description.
What's a Volksfest you might ask?
Nope...... not a gathering of Volkswagen owners in Goodhue county,
A Volksfest in this particular instance is referring to a Goodhue Volksfest has been around since 1983 when the Goodhue Jaycees first sponsored the festival. They wanted to bring the community together for some good ole small town family fun and games.
I like the graphics on this vintage antique button.
BTW.... this annual Volksfest is still going strong in 2023.

Interesting..my dad and I used to goto Volksmarches...a form of non-competitive fitness walking that developed in Europe in the mid-late 1960s.
Interesting.... though walking is the primary activity, the volkssporting movement also includes bicycling, swimming, cross-country skiing or snow-shoeing, and other approved activities. I would definitely participate in the snow-shoeing volkssport.
