A Wenty purchase from June '22 here in Sydney, I think. What really sold me on this one is the label. It looks to be an export label that is not shown in the Appendix of Beranek & Skrdlovice by Robert Bevan Jones and Jindrich Parik. This 'Bohemia Crysta' label has a glassblower similar to the Canadian Earl Myers label but facing in the other direction. I have not seen it on other Czech pieces here in Australia and is quite different to the usual Australian importer's label. But back to the vase itself : I love that pink and green combination that screams the late Fifties and the elongated 'tadpole' to one edge drags the slender design to another level. The design number 5932 indicates that it was a design produced from 1959. The designer Marie Stahlikova was born in 1922.

Gorgeous design and colors!
This vase projects visions of solidity and yet transparency and yet it has qualities of drifting and floating. It also gives an illusion of a vase within a vase, magnifique !~
