Here is a 3 1-2"H rose pink satin glass Persian type cat or kitten with hand painted floral accents by artist Shell for Mosser Glass of Cambridge OH, item #123 titled Fluffy Cat/Kitty. Raised M for Mosser in middle of kitty's lower back (may not show in pix)

DejaVu, isn't she a pretty cat, the flower & leaf painting on her back is really nice as these also came in solid unpainted colors. I thought it must be a Fenton cat I had missed but no, it's a later design for Mosser, and the fluffy shape makes her extra sweet

Very cute little kitty, she's very feminine and that kitschy sort of style you'd see on a vintage dressing table. This glass painted style was all the rage back then wasn't it? Very sweet little item.
The painter did a great job on the little face as well as the flowers. Cute.

Lauren she is quite the feminine kitty and I think you're right that hand painted vintage animals were very popular, which is why this cat reminded me of the Fenton style. The pink does give her a sweet kitschy look
Karen I tried to get the artist's name in the pix but it's at the bottom of the back flower, signed simply Shell (could be either first or last name, but this person did most of Mosser's painted cats, also saw a lovely blue one on auction but I have no patience for auctions anymore). Wonderful job on the face I agree she's truly cute and almost cuddly looking - if she weren't glass that is!
