Haven't you posted something very similar recently?! Another little glass elephant with a raised trunk? How many have you got?! Very cool, you could put them all together as a kind of elephant march if so! Reminds me of the pink elephants too and the strange bubbly shapes they had. :)

DejaVu you are right, this elly is in super vintage condition and in my fave color, so what's not to love! The sticker is always great esp on non-American animals for i.d., never found an international glass animal book (except some Murano which is mostly vintage Seguso) so it's a huge help
Leesa, glad you saw the beauty in this color, I love when you can see the blue tones in the lavender (esp the trunk) to show it is color changing neodymium glass
Lol Lauren you're so perceptive, yes a month ago it was a Murano elephant in same pose! By now I surely have a herd of glass elephants but never get tired of them. Did you ever see the old film Elephant Walk w. Elizabeth Taylor, they stampeded right through her big mansion, it was really cool. Bear with me, I've got some great unusual animals in the works that I'll post soon and think you'll like
Karen I really do love Mantorp, their animals are colorful as well as pretty. And neo glass is always so beautiful and makes me happy when I find it. Wish I could get more uranium glass (green, yellow) animals but everytime I think I have a candidate it doesn't glow under my black or UV lights, bummer :( I found a wonderful big glass animal I've been yearning for on a rare sale coming up in future. For me, gotta mix it up and add as many diff glassmakers as there were and as Lauren alluded to, also try to change up the animals to keep things interesting
