1950-60s Ford & Lincoln/Mercury Keys
I'm not sure what it is, but I like me some keys. I have a huge glass vase full of old keys. And a wall display of locks and skeleton keys.
Look how cool these keys are. So much style compared to what we see today.
The one on top is funny to me. Seems like something the government would do. Waste time engraving a key tag just to say unassigned!
The Ford keys are model H26 "V". They have that cool V. 1950-60s..could be Mustang keys...
The bottom Ford key a 1960s key that would be used on a Ford Galaxie or similar Ford cars.
The one on the bottom right is a Lincoln-Mercury key referred to as a Hurd key. Something like an 1125 H6 key. Look at the cool car image on the back side.
WHAT'S THE WORD, HAVE YOU HURD?
"Ford began using Hurd locks in 1932 and carried the same Ilco 1125H keyway through 1951. Various Dodge trucks also used the same keyway for many years."
