1930s M Hohner's Auto-Valve-Harp
Key of G
Made in Germany
Features 40 reeds and two separate rows of 10 holes each.
Brown-stained wooden comb with metal cover plates.
Played often.... still sounds great!
Dated 1930s as the trademark has a larger star, shorter simplified sleeves and cuffs, and larger text than models made on prior years.
During WWII and Post WWII, the star was removed entirely. During WWII, the star was likely removed because it bore the resemblance of the Star of David.
My father handed this down to me along with a few more Horners as he loved to play them... as I do now :)
Thanks Much for Looking at my Post!
