Here is a 5"H x 5 1-2"W blue & green glass peacock with yellow "eyes" fanned feather design, by Dynasty Gallery Glass of San Francisco CA with early 1951 label (the co was founded in '51)

DejaVu, that was my first thought on seeing this peacock, wow! A very striking peacock design, from the crown on his head to the yellow-green "eyes" in the feathers, I think the glassmaker got the essence of this showy bird very nicely

Phil, I definitely see millefiori in the "eye" design of the feathers it's so cool, and you're right, this guy is one of my favorites as it's my first & perhaps only glass peacock
Lovely princely peacock Jenni! He's adorable! He'd look so well on a ladies dressing table in an upmarket apartment somewhere, he's got that timeless but slightly kitschy look, like a lot of your glass animals. Here though, I adore the deep blue, light blue and green colours he's in, he's so bright! :)

Lauren I'm delighted that you enjoyed this glass peacock, I always think of you finding a new animal that is rarely seen here. He is most definitely a princely fellow with his cute crown, and so bright I was amazed at his colors taking the pix on a sunny day
