    This is a Japanese Lantern that has a Bamboo flower symbol on it. It weighs a good 20 lbs. It is in great condition, a small bit of rust on it. A nice find at a local yard sale. Wonder what year it is from.

      Are there marks on it that might be a foundry mark? You can try a Google images search to see if you can find another like it.

      I also have one that's on a stand, used to have a light in it. It's not same style but same idea..next to my pond. Been in garden since 70s.
