Hello everyone!!
Another addition to my doorstop collection is this vintage cast iron golfer doorstop. This was produced by Hubley sometime during the late 1920's to 1930's. There are many reproductions and copies of this particular doorstop, but this one is an original and still retains most of it's original paint. As you'll see in pic #4, this one is numbered on the base. Hubley cataloged this one as #238 "A Difficult Lie". He is a one piece design and stands 10" tall and 7 1/8" at his widest point.
Thanks very much for stopping in for a look!!

Fabulous piece for your Hubley collection Scott, terrific golfer swinging pose - and very exciting to find the original, congrats
Jenni,
Thanks so much!! He's the only golfer doorstop I own, but he's also the most highly sought after golfer doorstop. I was lucky to find him!
