Old big gemstone

Hello I’ve just rediscovered this lovely big old stone i think it’s cz but don’t know for sure, it could be anything but caught my eye as it’s big and in good condition considering it is in a bag of bits. Wondering if anyone can tell me more about it, wondering about what the cut says about it.
