This cyclometer looks suspiciously like another Lawson release, "The Arlington", which was originally manufactured in the 1930's, a gold variation of the Arlington was manufactured in the late 1950's. There is another version of this clock with scored pieces of Lucite to make it look similar to those on both versions of the Arlington. Suppsoedly Henry Fenenbock's design was responsible for these variations. These clocks were the end of the road for Lawson, so Fenenbock used a backlog of spare parts to produce them. It is still a lovely clock, and keeps excellent time.
Nice one!! I have an antique Bradley & Hubbard John Bull with a clock in the belly that I'll have to post sometime soon. Perhaps you could tell me a bit about the clock that's installed in my John Bull piece.
