This 3"W textured goldtone oval box has a pearlized bronze & green enamel lid of a leopard face with two green rhinestone eyes. The 1" goldtone charm has a seated spotted leopard with two tiny green eyes and white rhinestone 'bowl.' By designer Edgar Berebi, marked Limited Edition and with a signed card, ca 1990s
This over the top beautiful Jenni!!
Very much in the quality limited edition style and both are so highly desired. This designer has all the quality one can desire, so gorgeous !~
Those are really nice, I love the design on that box, it's so...tribal in it's way and when you look twice the leopard face takes place. Which is how I imagine you can easily miss a leopard, lying watching you from a tree branch above. The colours too are also really nice, again remind me of nice, soft earthy tones that most tribal art can be depicted in.
So pretty... I love those green eyes on the leopard box...stunning!!
Many thanks to you all for the love

Special thanks friends for your wonderful praise....
Scott, it is a rather striking piece, that leopard face has a forbidding look doesn't it, quite fierce. Another choice for Halloween, I usually do a cat brooch but this takes its place with those piercing green eyes
Phil you are so right, the limited edition Berebi animals are very collectible and I'm lucky to have a few. He had a lot of fantasy imagination in his depiction of animals
Lauren that's a terrific thought of the leopard looking tribal here, it does have a mask-like quality. To me, the little charm has the leopard in sort of a Sphinx-like pose. I totally agree about leopards lying in overhead branches it's what the do in the Amazon so they can pounce on their prey below!
Leesa aren't the green eyes intense, the face kind of reminds me of those prowling leopards in the old Cat People films :)
Thank you Patricia for the love for this leopard box, very glad you liked it and always appreciate your thoughtfulness
Many thanks Karen for the love, always a true delight whenever you stop by!
Thank you so much Sean for loving my fierce leopard face box, it reminds me a bit of your spectacular Lalique panther :)
