This lamp has been inherited from my grandmother and I'm eager to learn more about its origins. Discovering the lamp's provenance would help us appreciate its place in our family's heritage.

It looks to be a lamp made up from parts. I cannot tell what the base is, is it new or old. The finish on the statue is brand new looking. I believe someone made it up from parts and the shade seems to be just an afterthought.

The casting one can see from the face is not particularly well done. The glass "onyx" usually is a part from lamps and ashtrays. The sticker on the bottom is new so I stick to my other thoughts.

I was leaning towards it being made up of parts too, I've found similar shades that are from hanging lamps. It should be at least 20-30 years old.
