Sending out best wishes & respect to our military past and present, with sincere thanks to all for your service
This 4"W eagle statement brooch has patriotic red, white & blue rhinestones and stars in a goldtone setting, signed Eisenberg Ice ca the 1980s
The 12x18" WW2 era poster reprint shows a saluting Miss U.S.A. girl posed as a steno-typist with the slogan 'Victory Waits On Your Fingertips Keep 'Em Flying Miss U.S.A.' Especially appealing to me because I was a typist by profession :)
Wonderful pin and a Happy Veterans Day to all the veterans out there.
Spectacular Eisenberg eagle brooch!
This one is a beaute and the explosion of stars here is very patriotic, a poignant look at the one which points to straight victory and the people who have helped us in the past to honour our saviours and benefactors !~

Awesome praise from you guys, humble thanks to everyone
Scott, I'm really glad you liked the eagle & echo your kind wishes to all our veterans on their special remembrance day/weekend. Nice to see all the tributes on the news today, so well deserved, all were & are heroes
DejaVu that is the perfect word for this brooch, it is really spectacular & such an amazing design from Eisenberg (a co I know you love too), very large & inspirational. I love the sideways look of the eagle and those beautiful rhinestone stars, it's one of my most patriotic pieces and a truly lucky find I just happened on
Phil the stars do look explosive almost like fireworks it's a very dazzling brooch, one of those things you buy online that arrives even better than the pictures. And yes it does justice to honoring our brave soldiers of all generations who put their lives on the line to give us freedom
you were a typist?! That's cool! I always associate them with being so retro with an old fashioned typewriter which is cool! XD
This is a nice brooch and with those colours he definitely looks patriotic though I'll admit his shape had me first thinking dove but of course I see now, he's a very proud eagle :D
Thanks so much everyone for the Vets Day love

Lauren it does kinda resemble a dove you're so observant, but then those starry patriotic wings give it away right. Yes I was a typist but not on the old manual machines like the girl in the WW2 picture, I learned on electric typewriters then it quickly became computer typing, at one time I could type over 90wpm (words per minute). My father was a Morse code operator (radioman) in the US Navy during the Korean War, he had to learn how type for that, so maybe I also chose this war poster thinking of him on this military holiday. Thank you for your wonderful praise
Thank you rgrebov for the love, and hope you are having a nice Memorial Day weekend
