Cute duck. Unusual color.
Cutie!! The cobalt color caught my eye. I love it!!
Adorable!
The classic form which started it all, the cobalt has become the staple now and this is definitely one to garner the comments !~
Thank you for the love for this lil duck

Special thanks for your super praise
Dave it's certainly got a cute duckling form, and in a nice rich cobalt blue with a bit of purple on the nose, very different
Scott, glad you saw the cute factor here & enjoyed the color, Debbie is preening from the compliments :)
DejaVu happy that you liked this lil gal, who by now is proudly puffing her chest with delight at all the attention!
Phil she is one of Boyd's original glass animals and you're right, cobalt became a staple color for vintage US glassmakers, one of my brothers collects cobalt it's such an elegant color
She's cute, the way she's moulded makes me think of a cartoon duck from old Disney? And with her big head I'm thinking duckling?
Though her colour is an unusual choice, as she's called Debbie I'm nicely surprised they didn't choose typical pink for her and went for a strong blue.
A set of her, in other really strong colours would be fun too!
Warm thanks for the ducky love

Lauren that is such a great thought, she is like a Disney duck perhaps modeled on Daisy Duck (Donald's wife or girlfriend). Boyd Glass probably made this in pink too, but because this model is one of the oldest it's very hard to find it in many colors. Thank you for your terrific praise as ever
Thank you Mani for the love for this Boyd duck, really happy you liked it and always glad whenever you stop by
Thank you MishMasher for the love for this glass duckling, it's truly kind of you and most gratefully appreciated
Thank you Penny for the love, glad you liked this little duckling & always delighted to see you
