Hello everyone!!
Of the many sets of bookends, I have in my collection, is this beautiful set of Parrot bookends. These were made in 1927 by Ronson Art Metal Works. And yes, this is the same Ronson Art Metal Works that produced cigarette lighters as well. These are fairly rare and carry a very nice value. I've seen several sets of these over the years, but none in as nice of condition as these are. Though they have a paint chip, or two, missing here and there, they're still in amazing condition to be 97 years old. These were extremely dirty when I bought them, but with a bit of elbow grease, and a coat of transparent wax, these are now looking much better than before. These measure 6" tall, 4 1/4" wide and 4" deep.
Thanks for stopping in for a look!!
Scott

Watchsearcher,
Thanks so very much!
Jenni,
Thanks!! I've wanted a pair of these for years, but all I'd seen had a tremendous amount of paint loss. I got lucky and found this set for $40!!!!
