This is a vintage plush owl from the 1963 Disney animated feature The Sword In The Stone. He is wizard Merlin’s pet and of course he can talk in the film. Historically, Owls have made their mark in Disney movies. Archimedes is no exception. He stands about 16”. He has a rubber beak.

I remember him but not to well. I don't why but I was afraid of the wizard.

MishMasher, thanks for noticing and commenting. Hey, Merlin wasn’t even a Disney villain. How bad could he be, he had a pet owl! ;)
