Hello everyone!!
I recently purchased this set of hares as their wonderful details caught my eye and I had to have them. They were tarnished and I know that pewter doesn't tarnish, or tarnish like that anyway. So when I got them home, I cleaned them with silver cleaner and polished them. So, they're not pewter, but silver. More than likely silver plated, but I can find no markings, such as .925 on them anywhere.
They are each 4" tall have some heft to them and weigh 10oz each. Perhaps one of you CW experts can chime in and give me some insight on how to tell if they're silver plated of solid sterling silver. Could they be silver plated pewter? Just guessing.
Thanks very much for stopping in for a look!!
Scott

Jenni,
Thanks!! I only wish I knew if they were silver plated and what type of metal is under the silver plate.
