Here are two types of alligators:
Pilgrim Glass 5"W textured blue glass gator with open jaws & orig silver label ca late 70s-early 80s. Rare find from Pilgrim;
St John 2 1-4"W goldtone gator with various size & color rhinestones. SJ circular mark behind head for St John, ca 1990s
Cool gators and cool color! We just picked up a huge lot of Stangl pottery birds today. I was thinking of your posts..I know how you love your birds!
Love the speed lines on the blue gator, danger is the tour de force in his town !~

Thanks Dave for your terrific comment & glad you enjoyed my gator pair. Yep I am totally a bird lover back from when we owned parakeets (they were alot easier & quieter to keep than parrots, which I also love). The Stangl pottery birds are amazing, hope you snagged a good price on them I know they're rather costly these days
Phil you've nailed it, those are speed lines indeed on this gator's back, and with his open jaws he's about to snap at his prey lol :) Thank you for awesome comment
Thanks so much Scott for enjoying this alligator pair & for your marvelous comment. Pilgrim mainly did cobalt blue animals but this one has a nice ocean blue shade I think. BTW your alligators are spectacular, & your collection of different type animals is so varied and fabulous
Thank you sklo42 for loving my alligators, very pleased that you liked them & always grateful for your kind consideration
Very cool alligators, I especially love that long blue guy! Especially his typical open mouth pose and long curving tail. You see them adopting this pose...maybe whilst basking? Because of that I can imagine him basking on some sandy riverbank in the jungle or marshes? A calm image actually, considering these animals can be kinda scary!
Thank you Lauren for your wonderful comment & cool ideation for the blue alligator, he certainly could be basking on a riverbank, my stepdaughter lives in Florida near marshland & they're always making an (unwelcome) appearance, esp if they are cooking outdoors. I'm glad you enjoyed this combo post, haven't done one in awhile so it was nice to include the bejeweled gator brooch
So glad you liked my alligator duo Sean, thank you so much for the thoughtful love!
Faith thank you for the love for these alligators & all my posts today, you are very kind & I am so glad you stopped by
