Here is a 3 1-2"H x 3"W amber glass round eyed horned owl paperweight from Blenko Glass of Milton WV, with silver & clear label dating it ca 1980s

Dave, I'm glad you found this lil guy cute, Blenko often does exaggerated features like those big round eyes it's a very "hoo-hoo" look for an owl isn't it
Phil, although he's a chubby fellow he could easily fit in my coat pocket & also the rounded base is so smooth there would be no snags! Almost cuddly looking like a toy

Scott it's a lovely warm amber shade with a touch of gold at the top. Blenko's glass colors are very intense and I was finally able to photograph him in a position without the back label showing through the glass, they tend to darken front views of the animal from certain angles
Cute little round owl, the lovely amber glass reminds me of the actual colour of an owl's eyes? He's make a really lovely autumnal centerpiece on a table- imagine him in amongst some apples, cider and acorns?! He'd look fab!

Lauren you are right, owls do have those bright yellow-amber eyes that really glow at night. He is a really cool autumn color and I think putting him in a centerpiece is a great idea, thanks for your awesome praise
