Hello everyone!!
Here's a fun doorstop that I recently acquired. It's the Cat Playing Banjo taken from the cover of the book "Good Times And Merry Rhymes" that was first published in 1880 (seen in pic #4). The doorstop is depicted nearly identical as he is seen on the cover of the book, with the exception of the monocle. Though this one is not old, he's very collectible. He stands 13 1/4" tall and 9 7/8" wide. He weighs in a 7.4lbs.
Thanks very much for stopping in for a look!!

Gorgeous whimsical cat with banjo doorstop & wonderful likeness to the book cover, to me it's much prettier without monocle so you can see those lovely blue eyes
Jenni,
Thanks very much!! I'm not sure who made this one, but the likeness is spot on.
