I kept think..this looks familiar..we have a similar one by Atlas Glass..from the 90s that we recently listed..

I love this little cardinal!! It happens to be our state bird here in the Commonwealth of Kentucky!!
My favorite bird! The first and last at the feeder every day. They live for up to 15 years so you can have a family of friends for life if you so desire. Great glass example.

Dave, you are spot on, the red glass cardinal of love has a very similar size & shape to this one. These little glass cardinals are so adorable & still true to their real life counterparts, I always think of them as the quintessential winter bird (and they're on a lot of Christmas cards!)
Scott you have so many great animals & wildlife in Kentucky, it's no wonder that you are such a great collector of animals. It must be a joy passing by so many thoroughbred horse farms, here in LI we only have one that I know of
Kevin I think cardinals are my favorite wild bird too and I love to observe their behavior, it's so sweet when you see a mated pair ground feeding at dusk. I do notice that some are larger & look older than others, such a wonderful long life span for an outdoor bird right
