I pulled out my dad's wedding ring. I was noticing markings under the rank. Can anybody decipher what this is? If it's gold, how many carats etc. Any help would greatly be appreciated

If your gold is inscribed with the ‘375’ hallmark, it means that it is 37.5 per cent pure, or 9 karat gold for short.
Different countries have different marks, but All UK maker marks are unique to each jeweller. For example S&W stands for Slade & Woolf
The ring was made in London (Leopard)
Your ring was hallmarked in 1976 (B)
Wow, thank you very much. That is super helpful now. It gives me an idea what to sell it for. Thank you very much
