Hi everyone!!
I just added this jewel to my doorstop collection. This one was made by CJO Judd Co. in the early 1900's and was cataloged as No. 1281 CLOWN. As you'll see, in pic #3, he's numbered 1281 on the backside of the clown as well as the base. The base also has the CJO trademark as well. He's experienced some paint loss. The pompoms, under his chin and on his pocket, have long since lost their red paint. This one also had rubber bumpers, on the bottom of the backside, which are long gone, as most of them are. However, he's still a nice doorstop and I'm happy to have him in my collection. He stands 7 7/8" tall and 3 3/8" wide. He weighs 5lbs 6oz.
