Hi everyone!!
In my previous post you saw the cast iron dancing frogs fish bowl holder from the 1800’s. Though this fish bowl holder is very similar, there are a few differences between the one from the 1800's and this one from the 1920's. For example, this one is 1/4” shorter in height and 3/8" shorter in width and is colored gold. Also, the screws are in threaded holes where the one from the 1800’s has screws in non-threaded holes and square nuts. So, I have to believe they were both made by different manufacturers. Other than the gold paint having a few wear marks, it's in beautiful condition still. This gold colored one is nice, but I still prefer the colorful version from the 1800's. This one measures 7 1/2” tall and 8 7/8” wide.
Thanks for stopping in for a look!!
