You may have heard about the Danish author Karen Blixen (1885-1962) or read her book "Out of Africa" from 1937 about her life on her coffee plantation in Kenya 1914-1931 or seen the film from 1985 with Meryl Streep as her and Robert Redford as her friend (lover ?) Denys Finch Hatton (1887-1931). Here are some photos from her Danish home Rungstedlund, now a museum open to the public.
I thought Out of Africa was by Isak Dinesen so i looked it up and Karen Blixen is the same person!
