With the magnet I thought it would be nice stuck on a fridge, also reminded me of a camera, a totally fascinating piece !~

Scott thank you for your super comment, I always try to find something relevant to a holiday, and this cheery yellow paperweight certainly filled the bill for the Dragon Year '24

Phil that's a great observ, it really does have a camera look! Also it does adhere to fridges, file cabinets etc but is rather heavy so best kept on a stack of papers :) Thank you for your awesome & creative comment

kivatinitz that's a lovely compliment, it is a very interesting & quite ferocious dragon etching deep into the yellow crystal and quite a unique item

Happy Chinese New Year Jenni! And an excellent piece to celebrate this with! That's a very fitting, beautiful piece, I love the light gold he's in. It's very rich and...royal looking? Reminds me of some really cool item an Emperor or very important official might have on his desk. I'd say he has a great shine to him when placed in a window in front of full sun!

Happy Dragon New Year to you as well Lauren, let's hope it's a great one! I agree this dragon does have a royal look, it's quite ferocious with that snarl and paw that reminds me of a tiger's. The color is pale yellow that turns golden in the sun, I tried to capture some of that near a sunny window but our NY winter sun is now high in the sky so it's less intense. Really glad you enjoyed it and thank you for your fabulous comment & love :)
