    Well I found this last week for a very good price, and I just liked the shape and colours. I have no idea of the technique used to get this finish, but perhaps someone with more knowledge than me can enlighten me. It has a nice amethyst colour, and is irregular on the rim.
    No marks are present, so I have no idea who made this, or even where it might be made, but I can only assume that it is someone with considerable skill.

      Looks like they sprinkled some Frit (small glass pieces) then put it back in the glory hole to melt in and down.

      Thank you for the information. I thought it might have been something to do with sand, small pieces of glass didn't even come into my head.
