People who have been following my posts may remember a pearl one of these I listed 3 years ago. I got this one a few days ago and it so outshines the other!
The base colour reminds me of deeply blued steel with a green and gold pattern over the top and a iridescent sheen.
Same size as the first one but this is much lighter at just over 1KG the other is over 1.5KG.
The trading name Stevens & Williams was used until the 1930s when the company became Royal Brierley Crystal to signify its royal warrant of appointment as glassmakers.
This particular decoration was designed by Michael Harris and dates from about 1990.
"Royal Brierly Studio" is acid stamped into the base.
250mm high.
