Found in my neighbors attic today. They are cleaning out the place to sell the house. No one wanted this little guy from that family. So he now lives here. I think it is really cool. The "WARDEN" is not impressed. LOL Paint appears mostly original But very faded. It has a Hole for / from missing fishing pole at one time. Paint has weathered patina. Solid heavy construction.. Large? About 15" tall. I have been unable to find another just like it online. Any information appreciated.

Nice find!! You're correct about the fishing pole and that he's made of concrete. These typically were positioned by a small Koi pond or on a concrete bench. He's a smaller version as most were around 28" to 30" tall. Not sure of the age though.

Great find. It's a concrete lawn jockey. I haven't seen one with the original fishing pole.

I recognized it right away because I recently aquired one too. Mine is not in great shape and is on my workbench for restoration. Someone painted some hideous colors on it and I've stripped it down to whats left of original paint..not much. It also has so e stress cracks that need to be filled.

This is best picture I found. Ignore the price as several have popped in various conditions since this one sold.
