This jug has a mark of Heinz Theo Dietz.

      Heinz Theo Dietz
Heinz Theo Dietz (*1938 in Cologne) always had the desire to work with his hands and found his ideal occupation in clay. In 1960 he graduated as a ceramics engineer in Höhr- Grenzhausen. During his studies he also met his future wife Katharina, who comes from a family of potters in the Westerwald. For his sake, she also became a potter and together they founded their first workshop in Rheinbach in 1965. In 1969 they moved to Königswinter, where the workshop still exists today. However, for reasons of age, he handed it over to his daughter Veronika in 2003.
In addition to clay, Dietz also worked in porcelain. He started with ceramics in the typical Westerwald salt glaze, later adding crystal and foam glazes. He became known for his animals, nativity figures and fountains. The so-called “Schnäuzerkrugs”, which he developed in collaboration with the metal sculptor Franz Mühl, were particularly close to his heart.
In 1977 he was a co-founder of the GKK, the Königswinter artists' community.

Dietz took part in various exhibitions. In 1985 he received the MANU FACTUM state prize from the state of North Rhine-Westphalia for a work in porcelain.
On the occasion of his 70th birthday, a exhibition was held in Königswinter.

47A appears to be a model number. I think your jug was made in the 70's. after he moved his workshop to Königswinter.
