Early, old photos from the 1800 - Many of the collections are scenic photos , photos of toy’s , baby’s, midgets , military pictures /U.S. Army/Calvary , Scenic Photos of Longhorn Steers and Calves , Buffalo bison grazing on the Montana prairie.. And much more Governors and judges of several states back in the 1800 during the tumultuous American Civil War
I know nothing about photography, nor can I speak to authenticity, but the subject matter of your collection is fabulous and I wish we could see more.
Your Huffman photo needs to be examined by an expert to determine if the signature lower right is an inked signature. What is the size and is there anything written on the back? I also think the entire collection should be examined by an expert since it is possible some of the photos could fetch high prices at auction.
The photo on on the left is by the significant photographer L. A. (Laton Alton) Huffman (1854-1951, Ft. Keogh, Miles City, Montana) and is titled "Buffalo Grazing The Big Open, North Montana, 1888."

Huffman's original negatives are held by the Montana Historical Society and here is the entry for this one:

See if your library has the the book "The Frontier Years: L. A. Huffman, Photographer of the Plains" by Mark H. Brown, W. R. Felton, L. A. Huffman, Photographer. It may help you research some of the other photos.
