This 2 1-2" goldtone brooch has an all rhinestone design in two shades of green. From Kramer of New York ca the 50s-60s. Book piece featured in Signed Beauties of Costume Jewelry by Marcia Brown, pg 213, Men of Distinction - Kramer Jewelry Creations as seen in photo #4
This brooch is so pretty! I love the colors of the rhinestones and the design. I think it's a flower, because of the stems. A lovely springtime brooch!

DejaVu, so interesting that you should think this a flower brooch, and you may be right! When I examined it I saw a double star (the emerald end stones are 5 points, both on outside & inside), and in Ms Brown's book she called it a snowflake, however I do prefer to think of it as a springtime flower with the two shades of green, great call & thank you for your wonderful comment
Scott, I'm so glad you found this piece beautiful, I think Kramer made some really lovely costume jewelry and they're always on my radar for good vintage gems. Thanks for your awesome comment!
Beautiful!
Love the lighter icy green stones, that goes with the dark green stones and those extra prongs on the end pieces. A beauty of a snowflake design shoot this to the top, very nice to see this quality on this Kramer piece, gorgeous !~
Thanks Faith & Phil for the love I really appreciate it so much
vintagelamp thank you for the lovely compliment I'm glad you found this piece beautiful
Phil you are spot on about all the fine qualities in this Kramer brooch, and in seeing a snowflake which the book author mentioned as well, perhaps that was the designer intention. Fabulous praise thank you so much
very very beautiful jewelry, i do hope you are wearing these beautiful pieces!!
Sean thank you for the love and wonderful comment! I do try to wear most of my costume pieces on occasion, except for the earrings which I find uncomfortable, however my main piece of jewelry is a plain gold wedding band :)
