Hello I’ve just come across this item from the pass, I don’t know anything about it and wondered what it is for? Is it a vase? It’s stoneware and looks very old, I’ve just thought it could be used for incense sticks, Bud vase?,

Makes so much sense now vet, I think I have found a few of these over the years and always wondered but in the old days everyone who could write, LOL used ink pens
