I found this small headboard light at a local flea market. The metal was in bad shape and it needed to be re-wired. BUT the glass was in perfect condition - probably protected by a thick layer of dirt. The pictures tell the story... it was an easy fix and I was delighted with how it turned out. I figure if the glass/shade is damaged, it goes back in the pile. Other than that, I can fix just about any fixture; assuming it hasn't been driven over or totally destroyed.
I remember seeing a fair amount of these at auctions back in the 1970`s. This one of yours is wonderful. In my first apartment I had a pair on an old `entertainment` unit of radio etc. which sold a lot at auctions of the 70`s also. I always hated when a piece was damaged by a bend in the metal !
Quite illuminating
